Sammanfattning

I always take great personal responsibility for the result of my assignments, which has led to many interesting tasks over the years. As a skilled design engineer with extensive experience in FEM optimization, I work in a wide area – from part design to responsibility of the overall design and layout, sometimes in combination with design project management.
My colleagues are one of my greatest assets, both to tackle the tasks and for a rewarding social life. I am analytical and results oriented with the ability to focus on detail without losing the overall picture.

Erfarenhet

  • Founder

    Techneo AB 2001 –

Development of new products from concept to production including the overall process. The establishment of requirements specification in collaboration with potential customers, project management, establishment of procedures for documentation and drawing management (PDM), development and validation, FEM optimization, design for manufacturing, choice of suppliers and price negotiations, CE certification, quotation and creation of sales material. The tools used has been SolidWorks, COSMOSWorks (FEA), and the entire Microsoft office suite.

  • Responsible for Mechanical Integration

    Replisaurus Technologies 2009 – 2011

Replisaurus Technologies AB – Mechanical integration and design
Responsible for the mechanical integration in the ECPR high-precision copper pattern replication platform. The replication concept is entirely new and the design team highly international and physically dispersed. Overall responsible for the mechanical design and integration of the design work performed at different locations in Europe.
Technical software used: SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation (Cosmos FEM), MathCad
Defining keywords: Layout, integration, FEM, design review, coaching, mentor, cooling, flow, mechanics, clean room, silicon wafer, fluidics, international, high-precision, stage.

  • Mechanical R&D Designer

    Micronic Laser Systems AB 2003 – 2009

Responsible for the develoment of a key subsystems in Micronics laser lithography platforms. Analysis and layout work. Design and FEM analysis with main focus on frequency, structural and thermal performance. Also dynamic simulation, testing, experimentation and validation. Project manager and construction manager for the subsystems in the majority of product platforms. Coached employees and led the design work within the sub-projects.
During the later part of the assignment I gave courses in FEM analysis for the other staff in mechanical development. Some of the components and materials I worked with during the assignment: air bearings and air bearing systems, ceramics, Zerodur, invar, titanium, diabase.

  • Mechanical design engineer

    Hällde Maskiner AB 2003 – 2003

Development of a new type of handheld product. The work involved Gearboxes, electrical motors, cooling and cooling air flow, design for low noise and noise reduction, die-cast aluminum and plastic parts. The design work was made in SolidWorks.

  • Design engineer

    Atlas Copco 2002 – 2002

Design of applications with electrical nut runners. Integration of tools and accessories in the Atlas Copco range into custom designed ergonomic tool fixtures.
    Technical software used: SolidWorks

  • Design engineer

Neos robotics AB (SMT Tricept) 2002 – 2002

Design of robot cells, robot calibration equipment, and frames and foundations for industrial robots in milling applications. Supervising of assembly and installation of equipment at end customers site in Norway.
Technical software used: Mechanical Desktop 3D Cad

  • Project manager

    Ericsson Radio Access 2000 – 2001

Ericsson Radio Access – Project Manager
Project manager for part of the FENIX MCPA (Multi Carrier Power Amplifier) project. The MCPA is a key component of the base stations in the mobile 3G-network. Main focus in my project was to develop the electronics for the units, but some peripheral mechanics (encapsulations, cooling units, etc) was also part of my project. A technically advanced product in a time-critical project. About 10 persons participated in the sub-project.

  • Project manager & purchaser

    Ericsson mobile systems 1999 – 2000

The assignment was part of the development of the mobile phones R310s and R380.
In the beginning of the assignment I worked as a technical purchaser. The work encompassed everything from prototype procurement to establishing of logistics chains and specification of external assembly lines and price negotiations. Another important aspect was to support the design department in issues related to the production, and to source materials and suppliers.
After a while I took over as project manager for the battery units of both phones. The units are comprised of a multitude of parts that are manufactured and assembled at several locations.

  • Design engineer

    Allgon 1999 – 1999

    Allgon AB – Design Engineer
Analysis of recurring problems in the automated assembly lines and design new or modified ewuipment to fix the problems. The design work ranged from smaller adjustments to the design of larger fine mechanical units. I designed, ordered parts, assembled and debugged the units.
    Technical software used: Mechanical Desktop

  • Design engineer & design owner

    Electrolux 1998 – 1999

Electrolux AB – Design Engineer & Design object owner
Responsible for the functionality and design of one of the modules in the Eurocombi freezer-fridge. During handover to the manufacturing unit, I worked for about 4months in Logrono, Spain. I designed a larger number of parts in plastics, sheet metal and foam. To optimize the module in respect to efficiency, sound level, and for ease of assembly, I also made a number of tests and experiments. Part of this time was spent in the Electrolux acoustics lab.
